ATMC remains committed to keeping you connected and supporting you through a consistent level of superior customer service. These unprecedented times call for unprecedented levels of caution, concern and accommodation to be ex­tended to ensure both your safety and the safety of our ATMC team members. Every precaution taken can help limit the spread of the virus. For your convenience and safety, we invite you to consider utilizing the following options to conduct business with us:

  • By phone- An increased number of customer care representatives will be available by phone to assist you with new service requests, account changes, service issues, and to answer questions. You may reach our customer care call center at 754-4311, Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM.
  • Online- Through our myATMC customer portal available at www.atmc.com, you can manage your ATMC account 24/7. To establish login credentials for myATMC access call 754-4311.
  • Payments- To make a payment use one of the following methods: send it by mail, pay by phone using our automated payment system by calling 754-4311, or pay online through the myATMC customer portal at www.atmc.com. The drive-thru window will remain open for now at our Shallotte headquarters location. ATMC also has secure payment drop boxes available outside at our Shallotte and Sunset Beach locations.

Prevent the Spread of Germs by Keeping Your Devices Clean

Did you know that the average smartphone hosts more than 25,000 germs per square inch? In fact, smartphones are considered “dirtier” than public restrooms and shoe soles, yet we hold them close to our face and in our hands regularly throughout the day. As you are disinfecting and cleaning typical household items, don’t forget about the items you use the most.

To prevent the spread of germs through your devices be sure to follow these simple tips:

  • Keep your phone or device clean by wiping it down with a microfiber cloth and disinfecting with a tech cleaning spray or rubbing alcohol and water. Never spray directly on device!
  • Consider using hands-free devices like bluetooth headphones or a smartwatch, this can minimize the spread of germs by decreasing face to phone exposure.
  • Avoid sharing your phone or device with others.

Call Before You Dig

If you are planning a spring home improvement project, make sure to call before you dig. Simple tasks like installing a mailbox, planting shrubbery, or building a deck can result in damage to gas, electric, communications or water and sewer lines, which can lead to service disruptions. Avoid costly repairs and serious injuries by calling ahead of time and knowing the location of your service utilities.

By calling 811 before you dig, you’ll be connected to a local one call notification center that will share your information with local utility companies like ATMC. Locators then will visit the dig site to mark the approximate location of underground utility lines with spray paint, flags, or both. Once a site has been accurately marked, you’ll be able to safely begin digging.
