Focus Fiber Optics Now Available To Businesses in Seaside

Faster internet, with speeds of up to 1Gig, is now available for businesses in Seaside along Beach Drive, as well as portions of Sunset Boulevard and Seaside Road including The Village at Sunset Beach. With ATMC's new FOCUS fiber optic network, businesses there now have access to fast symmetrical broadband speeds which can support more modern, scalable cloud-based applications and deliver faster point-of-sale purchases. Seaside is the latest Brunswick County business district to receive FOCUS fiber optics. Other districts which have already been upgraded to fiber optics include Shallotte, Leland, Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach and Oak Island.

Businesses in Seaside are being encouraged to convert their ATMC services over to fiber optics as quickly as possible. To find out more about the benefits of fiber optics or to schedule an appointment to have your service converted over to the new network, call 910-755-8116.

Fiber Optic Construction Underway in Boiling Spring Lakes

ATMC crews have begun work on a $9 million-dollar project which will replace the copper network currently used to serve Boiling Spring Lakes residents and businesses with FOCUS fiber optic service. The first phase of this two-year project is currently under construction. Once complete, residents and businesses there will have access to ATMC's full line of services including digital cable TV and symmetrical internet with speeds of up to 1Gig.

Residents will be notified as service becomes available. For more information about fiber optic service in Boiling Spring Lakes, or to follow our construction progress, visit iwantATMC.com.

Faster Internet Now Available in Thomasboro

Faster internet, with speeds of up to 300Mbps, is now available for residents living in the Thomasboro community and work is currently underway to upgrade the network serving residents in Kingtown and Exum. Work there is expected to be complete before the end of the year and will wrap up a three-year initiative called Project 2019 which brought faster internet to over 4,000 of ATMC’s most rural customers.

If faster internet is already available to you as a result of  Project 2019 network upgrades, we ask that you call 910-754-4311 to have your DSL service converted to the newer cable modem network. ATMC is requiring that customers be converted by the end of 2020. For more information about internet speeds in your location, visit atmc.com/project2019.
