FOCUS Broadband to Drop Viacom Channels
Starting in October, FOCUS Broadband will no longer carry channels from Viacom Networks in our cable TV lineup. This change affects the following channels: Paramount, BET, TV Land, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, and Nickelodeon among others.
While this may be disappointing to some, these channels have relatively low viewership among our customers and no longer justify their increased cost demands. This decision is part of our efforts to manage the rising costs of cable TV programming while focusing on delivering the most popular entertainment content.
For fans of these channels, there are many streaming alternatives that still offer them, including YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and DIRECTV via Internet. Our new partnership with DIRECTV includes the Viacom channels, local channels, live news, and sports — all delivered over your FOCUS Broadband internet connection, with no satellite dish required. Plus, special introductory pricing is available for up to two years.
Click here for more information. We are committed to helping you find the best entertainment options for your needs.

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist TV-MA — Based on the acclaimed iHeart true-crime podcast, this series follows the infamous story of how an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali's historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man's life but ultimately transformed Atlanta into the "Black Mecca." When a hustler named Chicken Man (Kevin Hart) hosts an afterparty with wealthy guests to celebrate the fight, the night ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta's history. Sink Your Teeth Into Jaws and Two Sequels PG-13 — Steven Spielberg's 1975 classic Jaws is one of the greatest blockbusters ever made. When Spielberg began directing his shark movie, he was still a relatively unknown name in Hollywood. His ability to develop the fictional world of Amity Island and produce so many shocking iconic moments made him famous. The original suspense-filled, seafaring thriller was followed by Jaws 2 (1978), which returned to Amity Island, and Jaws 3-D (1983), set at SeaWorld theme park. You can dive into these three adventures now — if you dare! (Netflix, September 1st) |
